Milwaukee – World of Asphalt, North America’s leading trade show for asphalt paving and maintenance professionals, takes over America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, Missouri March 25-27, 2025. The Gateway City will host World of Asphalt for the first time, promising to deliver an exceptional experience for attendees and exhibitors.

During World of Asphalt 2024, Women of Asphalt introduced Women of Asphalt Day. Following the success of this inaugural event, the organization is bringing it to St. Louis. Brittyn Heisler, Executive Director of Women of Asphalt, shares an inside look into this year’s event and how people can engage with the organization during their time in St. Louis.

What do you have planned or want people to know about this year’s Women of Asphalt Day?
Women of Asphalt Day, held March 27, is all about celebrating, connecting, and strengthening the workforce in the asphalt industry. This year, we’re featuring Mickey Scherer, Vice President of Leadership Development at CRH, in "Owning Your Career Development," where she’ll share strategies to take charge of your career and unlock your full potential. We’re also hosting the GRIT (Growth, Resilience, Intention, Tenacity) Workshop & Panel with Jennifer Bardot, a six-time bestselling author, for an inspiring discussion on resilience, leadership, and creating opportunities for growth in the industry. Plus, attendees can put their skills to the test on the CAT VR simulator, a hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment and technology. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned professional, Women of Asphalt Day will leave you empowered, connected, and ready to take your career to the next level!

You held the first Women of Asphalt Day during last year’s World of Asphalt. What was that experience like?
Last year’s inaugural Women of Asphalt Day was a huge success! The event sold out, bringing together over 200 industry professionals for a day of connection, professional development, and industry insights. The energy in the room was electric, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees left feeling motivated, supported, and part of something bigger. It reinforced the importance of creating spaces where individuals can learn, grow, and strengthen the future of industry together.
